 Club History  :

The FARMHOUSE PETANQUE CLUB was founded in 1985 as a break-a-way from a now defunct club called the Garrison Petanque Club, which was originally created in 1978, and they played in Old Portsmouth on a site adjacent to the Garrison church.

Through the years we have had many individual successes and our Representative Honours include:

Pamela: Ladies World Championships;Ladies European Championships;North Sea Tournament.

Ben: World championships and North Sea.

Trevor and Bob; Home Nations

Addionally, many of our club members have represented our region in the annually held Inter-Regional Championships.

From the very beginning we have been twinned with Lillebonne Boule Club
